Magical Birthday Party performances are geared to the age and gender of the Birthday Child. Let us know some fun "tidbits" about your child beforehand (favorite activities, pets, foods, TV shows, etc.), and Markus will incorporate them into a personalized show that has an extra-special appeal. He has a whole roomful of props, toys, and other unusual items--plus a surprising familiarity with kids' interests (he's a big kid himself!!). The show is high-energy, sometimes off-the-wall; it'll leave everyone howling with laughter! Parents are always amazed at Markus' kid-handling skills; as you know, it takes something special to relate to them as well as he does.

Where Will We Travel?	Magical Birthday Party performances are generally limited to within 60 miles of East Waterboro, Maine. For an estimate of your distance and mileage charges, check with MapQuest.
What's the Charge for Mileage?	Mileage is currently 50 cents per round-trip mile. The first 15 miles in each direction are FREE! If you're located more than 60 miles from East Waterboro, ME, there is an extra charge...however, we unfortunately can not travel more than 100 miles for a birthday party performance (sorry!).

BALLOON SCULPTURE is a wonderful option to add to your Magical Birthday Party!
This way, everyone brings home a fun souvenir of the terrific party you hosted! An adept balloon artist, Almodarr twists various styles of brightly-colored balloons. The birthday child receives an extra-special balloon creation. Although he is a quick twister, due to the time involved (and the occasional popping of a balloon sculpture that he will remake so no one goes home unhappy), this option is limited to 15 children or less. If more than that, there's an extra fee of $2 per child to cover the extra time. (Click on the thumbnails for larger photos!)

For even more fun, add FACE-PAINTING or TEMPORARY TATTOOS!
This is only available with balloon sculpture; for this package, Angelique comes too! While Almodarr twists balloons, Angelique decorates the kids. Her face painting gets raves from kids and adults. Rather than full-face paintings (time consuming and sometimes messy), Angelique creates beautiful "cheek art". She brings a "menu" of nearly 2 dozen designs (girl and boy friendly!); their smiles when they see their painted faces are priceless! She uses only top-of-the-line cosmetic face paints--non-toxic, non-staining and easy to wash off.

The temporary tattoos are also non-toxic, and wear away gradually (a day or two, although depending on how they're cared for, some may last as long as four days!). They're easily removable with rubbing alcohol or baby oil. Her stock of tattoos is truly "cool", and she brings a "menu" of at least 2 dozen choices, all appropriate for the age group of the party guests.

To your child, his or her birthday is the most special, "magical" day of the year...as a mom or dad planning a birthday party, your child's happiness is the #1 consideration. When it comes to entertainers, price isn't always an accurate gauge of "good". We don't really know what others are charging, but it's a safe bet that our prices are comparable to others in Maine. (Who knows--maybe we are even the least costly!) There are some wonderful performers who don't charge a lot but deliver a super show; and there are some high-priced ones who may look great "on paper", but just can't maintain the attention of a young audience.

Of course we hope you'll hire us, but for the sake of a successful party we hope you'll make your decision based on how you feel about a performer's credentials and integrity, and how he or she will "deliver the goods" at your child's birthday party. Markus has given thousands of birthday party performances and is a proven hit with both kids and parents. Experience is also important; you don't want someone at your party who's "eaten alive" by enthusiastic party-goers! Markus has over 3 decades of longevity "in the business"--entertaining kids is something he does very well. Magic is not part-time, "after-work or on weekends" with us. We do this for a living. Our livelihood literally depends on making sure you're totally satisfied--with the show, with the whole process of working with us, and with the end result of the laughter and joy of your child and his/her friends! Almodarr's warm, friendly, inspired manner with children is unsurpassed; Angelique is pretty and approachable by even the shyest of children. We also don't offer lots of "free" extras with our packages just to get the job (although goody bags are available for a nominal charge). As you'd expect, the cost of any "free" stuff is already going to be built into the price; ask any car dealership who sells you a car with a "free warranty"!

Markus' love for entertaining children is the biggest factor that makes him the ideal birthday entertainer for your child's party. He has fun, and they have fun. It's win-win! However, as his schedule is filled with performances for corporate clients, resorts, schools, and other venues, we strongly suggest that you call to check availability before you finalize your party date. Also, as weekends are often booked months in advance, consider hosting a weekday or after-school party!
